Why Boot Camp?

People hear “Boot Camp” and images of men in army boots come to mind.  Pretty scary when all you want to do is lose a few pounds, not become a Navy SEAL!  Fear not!  Boot Camp can be adapted to different abilities and is fun because you tend to work out in groups.

So – what exactly is Boot Camp?  Boot Camp Fitness is a total body, cross training program that focuses on cardiovascular health, muscle strength, agility and endurance.  The classes use a variety of techniques, simple equipment and even the natural outdoors for cardio exercises such as running and sprints and strengthening such as push-ups, lunges, squats and pull-ups.

Unique.  Most of the time, boot camp takes place outdoors.  Lean Body Bootcamp of Brookfield takes places indoors and outdoors in warm weather.  Boot camps get people out of the gym and into something totally new.  The workouts are always different and never boring.

Anyone can do it.  This type of training is intense at times and will challenge you to go beyond what you think you are capable of.  Everything can be modified to fit any level or age group.  From the youngest (age 16) to the oldest, from couch potato to the athlete, this program has something for everyone.

Effective.  The program is focused on body fat loss and fast physical conditioning.  The combination of strength, power and interval cardiovascular training have a dramatic effect on the human body.

Group Camaraderie.  Because boot camps take place in a group format, they are a great social outlet and provide an environment conducive to making new friends.  The group format also challenges you to work longer, harder and faster than you would on your own.  You gain amazing results.
