American Cancer Society – Cancer Prevention Study
Historic Cancer Prevention Study Taking Place June 2 in New Fairfield, CT
The American Cancer Society is looking for at least 300,000 adults in the U.S. who want to make a direct impact in the fight against cancer. The Cancer Prevention Study-3 will pave the way for the next generation of cancer research.
Enrollment for this area is taking place at New Fairfield High School, 54 Gillotti Road, New Fairfield, CT on June 2, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
This event is taking place inside the Relay For Life of New Fairfield event, but is an independent clinical study. We are currently the only site selected for the state of Connecticut in 2012.
Interested and eligible participants can enroll in this lifesaving study. If you’re willing to make a 20-30 year commitment to the study, you’re between 30 and 65, and you have never been diagnosed with malignant cancer (Basal and Squamous cell ok), you may qualify. The entire enrollment process will take approximately one hour and a small blood draw (7 teaspoonfuls), will also be taken by Quest Diagnostics at that time.
To enroll, email your name, telephone number and your address to RelayForLifeNFCPS3@gmail.com Or for more information please visit www.cancer.org/CPS3.
It’s your chance to help us understand what causes cancer and how to prevent it. If you are unable to participate or don’t qualify perhaps you know someone who might be able to enroll.
